Barents Adventure is run by Jørn Haagenrud, a lifelong outdoorsman from Finnmark who turned his passion for nature, food, and storytelling into unforgettable Arctic experiences. As your captain, guide and host, Jørn welcomes you aboard with warmth, authenticity, and a deep connection to the land and sea he calls home.

Midnight Sun Safari – nature’s golden hour at sea

Join us for a serene evening boat tour on Varangerfjord, where the sun never sets. This natural wonder, known as the midnight sun, occurs in Northern Norway each summer when the sun stays above the horizon for 24 hours. Glide through calm waters, get the chance to spot whales, puffins and seals, and enjoy stories, snacks – and maybe even a glass of sparkling wine beneath the glowing Arctic sky.
