Summer Tour

Boat Trip to Grense Jakobselv

Join us on an atmospheric boat trip along the wild Arctic coastline – departing from Kirkenes, Vadsø or Bugøynes – to the iconic border area of Grense Jakobselv. Here, where Norway meets Russia, you will experience breathtaking nature and the unique atmosphere that defines this remote part of the world – especially poignant in today’s times of global tension. The voyage follows a dramatic and beautiful coastline, rich in birdlife and with opportunities to spot seals, porpoises and, with luck, larger whales such as humpback whales and orcas. We pass sheer cliffs, hidden coves and fjords where humans have lived for up to 10,000 years, while the open horizon of the Barents Sea unfolds before us.
